Patient Testimonials
"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Bossio! She has been such a gift to me and has changed my life. When I went into menopause at the age of 40, Dr. Bossio was there by my side – supporting me both medically and emotionally. She took the time to consider every detail of my condition and created a natural and effective approach to managing my symptoms. Dr. Bossio carefully learns all about you – what your body is struggling with and what it needs for balance and health. She also shares with her patients a resource of other professionals who enhance holistic health care. Dr. Bossio is invested in my physical and emotional health and periodically reviews my supplement plan to make sure it is meeting my needs. At a time in my life when I had very little emotional support, it brought me great comfort to know through diagnostic testing the status of my physical health, and that my health care provider does everything to ensure that I am as healthy as I can be. She is fabulous!"

"I am a recent patient of Dr. Bossios’s in the last few years. I am a 49 year old male. I have gone to “traditional’ doctors all my life and have gotten no clear answers and given no preventative ideas or help. I came once again to Dr. Bossio in early June 2012 after my PCMD sent me for a blood test which I have not had in several years. The test showed that my cholesterol and triglyceride levels were very high ( my total cholesterol was 305 and my Triglycerides were 354). Both of my parents died from heart/stroke illnesses. My PCMD wanted to put me on Lipitor and I asked him while he was writing out the prescription to give me some time to try on my own to bring the numbers down. He agreed to three months.
I set up an appointment with Dr. Bossio a few days later. She recommended that I start walking a minimum of three days per week up to five to six days a week at 30 minutes minimum a day with some speed work added in . She also recommended I stop all sugars, white breads, cheeses, red meats and fatty foods, I was also using creamora — a good amount-every day in my coffee-hydrogenated creamer and stopped that. I stopped all cakes, pies, cookies and candy and anything that contained high fructose corn syrup. She had me add in oatmeal, more fiber, garlic and green tea. Dr. Bossio also put me on a few supplements.
It was hard at first, but the potential outcome without these changes was unacceptable to me. After a few weeks I got to the point where it was fun to walk and the changes in foods did not bother me. Dr. Bossio had given me many alternatives to the old sweets I enjoyed. I cheated a couple of times. But I noticed that I didn’t like how sweet and chemical like these items tasted. Also, I didn’t like the way I was feeling-lethargic etc; after I ate these old foods again. Also, I was not binge eating anymore like I had done with sweets in the past.
Anyway, in early September I went back to my PCMD and my test numbers dropped significantly. While on Dr. Bossio’s program my total cholesterol went from 305 to 136. My triglycerides went from 354 to 88. There would be no way I could have done this through my PCMD or on my own. I truly thank Dr. Bossio and look forward to continuing to work with her to remain healthy"

"I have been working with Dr. Deb Bossio for over two years and find her to be extremely approachable, a good listener, and willing to discuss different options for treatment. I have taken my son to see her as well, and was pleased with her recommendations. I trust her judgment so much that I still work with her via phone, even though I have moved out of state."
